Hi new forum members! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I'll be helping Mitch with the administrative side of this forum, so if you have any questions on how to reply to a discussion or post your own discussion topic or question or something is just not working for you, please feel free to email me (khastings@lakeforest.org). Also - Mitch would like everyone to register for this Discovery Course as we do all other Discovery Courses, just so that we can have access to your email and to know who you are. (The forum username keeps some of you fairly anonymous.) Also, we may gather as a group various times during the year for deeper discussion. Thanks for joining us in reading through the Bible in 2009. Here are some details for you to know:

1. You can join at any time during the year.
2. Make sure you register on our main church website, lakeforest.org. This just gives us access to your email and to know who you are. We’d love to know who’s tracking as we may gather as a group various times during the year for deeper discussion.
3. We will read through the Bible Chronologically. Please go to www.oneyearbibleonline.com and click on “One Year Chronological Bible”. From here, you can choose a variety of ways to keep up with the readings.

• Select the version of Scripture you want to read (I will be using the New International version).
• Select the start date as January 1, 2009 (even if you join us later in the year).
• Choose how you want to follow along: you can print the entire calendar of readings for the year; have them email you the readings each week; or even have it posted on your facebook. Your choice.

     4.  Stay faithful in your reading. Even do it as a family.
